The 16 km. length of the coast of L’Ametlla de Mar shape one of the most charming and unspoiled coastlines of the Mediterranean. The profile is sharp, with beautiful cliffs that give way to a series of beaches and coves. Each has different characteristics: some with fine white sand, others with stones, surrounded by typically Mediterranean vegetation, where the colors and scents of nature and the sea merge and take gorgeous shades.
From our facilities, there are various walking routes and you can enjoy a range of different natural landscapes. There is a well-structured, signposted network of footpaths throughout the county. The GR 92, the walking route that runs along the Mediterranean coast, passes through the campsite.
The Ebro Delta covers all the area where the river Ebro meets the Mediterranean and is the second most important water habitat in Spain. This nature park has over 325 different species of animals. Within the park we can see nine lake zones with nine different options for the visitor, and there are various species of bird in each zone. A splendid location, full of paths for walking and cycling and routes for boats.
Upriver along the Ebro you’ll find the Parc Natural dels Ports, a steep, craggy massif with a wealth of flora and fauna. Wild goats roam around the cliffs, under the watchful eye of the eagles and vultures.
